A tasty appetizer or side dish which gives a lovely aromatic smell.

- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms
- 3/4 cup white wine
- 1 tbs. nutmeg, ground
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Clean and slice the mushrooms or serve whole if they are smal.
- Combine all ingredients and cook over medium heat until the wine comes to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and cook until mushrooms are tender.
- Remove from heat and serve while hot.
