  1. Hi Emma,
Thank you for your comment, and question. Sometimes it’s green :-) Have you seen the liquor- crème de menthe? It’s also green.
Actually, it’s impossible to get any mint here, but as we were traveling last fall, I picked up a bit of peppermint extract when we were in Germany…it was green. I was happy about that, as I did not need any food coloring. The strength of the minty-ness also varies from one country to the next, so one should add a bit at first and taste, then adjust according to your preference. I hope you try it and enjoy.

  2. This looks so good and perfect for St. Patrick’s day! I bet this would taste good with actual mint added to it. I’m going to try it. Thanks for the recipe!

  3. Hi Mighty Vegan,
Thank you for your comment :-)
es, it was very nice indeed. A special treat :-) Be careful adding your mint as it varies, some brands are very strong.others seem milder. So add a bit at first and taste it. I always used to love peppermint ice cream when I was growing up. It was usually pink though.
This was very nice too. I hope you enjoy it.

  4. wow, thanks I made this with excellent results. though i was the only one excited for a mint shake. i posted the recipe on my site, since I reduced it for one.

  5. Hi Joe,
Thanks for your comment and yours looks very yummy to :-) It’s funny about the flavor o peppermint- not everyone is so fond of it and some even think it’s like medicine. But, we enjoyed it, and are glad that you did too :-)
