Review: Nuttolene

Nuttolene is a vegetarian loaf with peanuts, water and sea salt as ingredients. We saw it on flickr many months ago but have never seen it in the stores until we visited Denmark last week. Nuttolene comes in a can and is being produced by Nutana in Denmark.

We opened the can today, cut the Nuttolene in slices and cooked them just like the Tofu Pecan Cutlets. They had a mild peanut taste and a nice soft texture, quiet different from tofu or seitan. It was really good and we would love to have it again.
