Review: Restaurant De Kas
Today we had the Christmas lunch with our company at Restaurant De Kas in Amsterdam.
Situated in the former Amsterdam City Greenery (1926), they offer extremely fresh, seasonal vegetables and fruits. They serve rural Mediterranean menus including vegetarian and vegan meals.
For lunch we had a four-course menu with Champaign and white wine. You can see my vegan menu below.
This has been one of the best Restaurant meals I have ever experienced. The variety of vegetables and the way they have been prepared was impressive. The flavors were fantastic, well balanced, yet very diverse and interesting. It was a feast for the senses – also visually.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was formal but nice, the service was good and we had a great view out on the winter landscape of the Frankendael Park.
