Yummy Walkers


  • 300 grams flour
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 150 grams margarine
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 package vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch salt

Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Add the soften margarine and mix well.
Put the dough in the refridge for 1 hour.
Roll out the dough to 1/2 inch thick and use cookie cutters of choice to cut out the cookies.
Bake the cookies about 10 minutes or until golden brown.

For the frosting mix powdered sugar mixed with a bit of soft butter, water or syrup and color of choice.
Pink can be made using beet juice, or berry juice.
Green and blue bought, yellow from kurkurma.

Optional, the liquid can be lemon juice to make lemony cookies, or almond for almond flavour.

On the photo we used the old East German Ampelmaenchen as cookie cutter.
